Very good food served in very small portions. The menu is not extensive, however. You probably need 3 to 4 rather than 2 courses. And it ain't cheap. The service when I went there was very ordinary and we had to ask for wine and water top-ups just too many times. So far then, not dis-similar to Costes. I don't think being on a tourist strip is the right positon for a restaurant of this nature - I have the same view of Costes' location. I understand Babel is moving, however, as ten tables is not satisfying demand. The ambience matches that in many other Budapest restaurants with Michael Buble in the background. A good try here to do something very different and that is to be applauded. The service needs improvement, however, and the feel of the place could also do with some work.
