The best bistro in Budapest. And finally great Hungarian cuisine. We've been coming back several times the past 2 weeks and surprisingly more Hungarians eat here than most quality places in town. Price/value is superb - no wonder they have a Michelin Bib Gourmand rating.

A recent restaurant in the Castle district, which has the same owner as café Pierrot. We were the only Hungarian speaker among the customers . My duck was almost raw and cold, fortunately the delicious "21 Somloi" catch up! to resume for me it is a “reasonably” priced upscale Hungarian food restaurant for Castle district tourist.

this is a great hungarian bistro restaurant - we've liked it above all in budapest. it's the kinda place in budapest where we like to go in paris or rome: not a touristic, but a real local place featuring national cuisine. great wine list, superb casual atmosphere, great lighting and you can see the kitchen through a large window. it is also moderately priced - definitely our favorite in town.
